  • store bought package of fish tempuras— also contains the sauce for the soup
  • 2 cans of chicken stock
  • partial package of glass noodles
  • half a package of tofu
  • sliced beef

Nicole made this for me the other day! It was amazingly good! It tasted even better because it was a cold night. There were different types of tempura/fish cakes in the package that Nicole bought. She bought it from some Japanese store for $5 apparently. I remember eating one of the longer tempura pieces and inside there was octopus—that was my favorite.

We only wished we had the white mushrooms to add to our shabu shabu, but unfortunately we didn’t. It was really good though.. can’t wait until she makes this again!
