Korean BBQ beef ribs
Made on Sept. 29, 2009
- 10 pieces of beef ribs
- 3 cloves of garlic
- store bought korean bbq marinade
- 1 bundle of asparagus— ends cut off and cleaned
- vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
Grilled Shrimp (not shown in picture)
- 1 cup of shrimp
- 2 cloves of garlic
- salt & pepper, tablespoon of sesame oil, and a dash of fish sauce.
Today we invited Jonathan over for dinner along with my friend Robert. Saba ate with Nicole and the rest of us, too. I forgot to take pictures of the food while I was cooking and after I cooked because my hands were a little greasy from touching food and meat and from grilling it all on the stove-top.
I accidently set off the smoke alarm in our apartment, because the vent wasn’t sucking up the smoke coming off of the grilled meats and veggies. But, no biggie— Jonathan fanned all of the smoke out of the apartment, and we opened all of the windows and doors.
This dinner was really great!! The meat was cooked pretty well and the asparagus tasted awesome! I wish I had taken more photos, but the photo that’s displayed is just of the leftovers we had….which as you can see…isn’t very much.
I’ll have to remember next time to make sure I document the whole thing.
